ABOUT THIS TOUR
The north tour begins in Machico, where we discover the first place occupied by the Portuguese back in 1419. Heading towards we see a nice viewpoint in Ponta de São Lourenço where we can see the separation between the north and the south of the island, finishing at Pico do Facho where we can see a lovely view over the bay of Machico. Continuing our route, we go visiting Faial and check an amazing viewpoint with all the valley. We head to Porto da Cruz, where we can visit one of the emblematic Sugarcane mills still operating in Madeira. We finally arrive in Santana, where we find the famous typical thatched houses, that existed a long time ago on the Island.
